The Hester family of Manteo has established an endowment fund with the Outer Banks Community Foundation to honor Naomi Collins Hester, who will celebrate her 70th birthday on July 28. The Hester Family Legacy Fund will honor Hester’s lifelong service to Dare County and her volunteer activities that helped those in need in the community for many years.
